A Note From Shannon
"I believe the purpose of therapy is not simply to help you manage your symptoms but to help you heal the deep wounds your symptoms are trying to soothe. This is why I do not use one
therapeutic approach but work with you to adapt our approach to your needs.
After all, I may be an expert in Trauma-Informed Approaches and Practices, but I am not an expert in you, and that means we will work together to create new skills, new ways of relating and therapeutic goals that work for you."
